Fall in The Air - Free Kit

Here in the Bay Area of California, the air is definitely changing. We've had such a mild summer and now it seems like Fall is creeping in. Fall is my MOST favorite time of the year.

I've kind of missed building a scrapbook kit lately, so I decided to sit and spend some time creating something with the Fall colors that should be upon us pretty soon.

Feel free to click on the preview if it looks like something you could use to create a layout. AND enjoy!!

Great Grandson Anthony Gardening & FREE Quick Page

This is a scrapbook page that I just finished for our Great Grandson, Anthony. When he comes to visit, he wants me to take him to the back yard so that he can water my plants. Fortunately, his Mom, Samantha, usually has an extra change of clothes for him, since he ends up a tad wet. He's now 4 years old and such a good helper.

Scrapbook layout was started from a template by Simply Tiffany Studios. Scrapbook papers and elements from Secret Stash Digital Scrapbooking 's free kit, "Hello Fall". The kit is free if you LIKE their Facebook page and sign up for their newsletter. The BOY element is not part of the kit and I don't know the designer to give credit. If anyone knows, please let me know and I'll be glad to give credit where credit is due.

If you'd like the free layout as a quick page, click on the preview shown below to download.

Afternoon at the Rose Garden

Ron and I took a nice walk through our cities local Rose Garden since all the roses are in full bloom and gorgeous at this time of year. Also gave me a good excuse to play with the new camera. So, there was a lot of "stopping to smell the roses" going on. And an excuse for another scrapbook page.

Girlfriend Road Trip

Nothing like a girlfriend road trip to bring on the fun. This page was done by Danna. Danna Earnhardt Atkins, Judy Filkins and myself set off for Eureka, Ferndale and the Redwoods, last month, to play with our new DSLR cameras. I think that between all of us, we must have taken about 1k photos.

Coloring Eggs

Happy Easter to all. It's tradition, with my DH and myself, to color eggs the day before Easter. Kids have been gone, from home, a long time ago. But we continue the tradition. Which means it's been 34 years and counting now. Hard boiled eggs taste so much better when they are colored, don't you agree? This is the page I put together to remember it always.

Paper and Elements came from Raspberry Road Designs', Easter On the Farm, and Natali Designs, Joyful Easter.

April Color Challenge for DSO - FREE Kit

WOO HOO!! Here I go again with another Color Challenge hosted by DSO. I still find it a fun challenge after playing for the last couple of years. The other participants always come up with wonderful contributions. Together, we all show our own style and create items for our scrapbooking needs. If you have a desire to try your hand at making digital elements and papers, please feel free to jump in and join us.

These are the colors that were given to us this month. We are to choose at least 3 of the colors for our kits.

My kit is free for the taking, if you like it. Just click on the preview. Thanks for stopping by.

Grand Daughters Scrapbook Page

In December, our Grand daughters came to Calif to visit family. We were so happy to have them stay with us. They are "such" great gals. Their cousins took them to San Francisco for the day and it turned out to be a typical rainy, foggy day in the city.

To remember their visit, I completed a scrapbook page using Kim B's Designs kit called Mulberry Fields and a template that she shared with us. And be sure to check out her Blog as it's always a fun read. If you'd like the template, you'll find it at the bottom of her posting for that day and mentioning "last Friday's post".
