Kim's DSO July Color Challenge

Another month and another opportunity to participate in the DSO Color Challenge, hosted by Kim. Kim tosses us 5 colors and we are to make a kit or layout from them. There are always wonderful submissions to save and use for scrapbook pages.

This week, also has me at the sewing machine and working on a project where we make a quilted bag and then the fun items to go into it. There is a link to the right of this posting, called MAKE SEW ALONG, if you're interested in the directions or joining in. I'm also working on another quilting project and will post a picture of it when I'm finished.

You can download my contribution to the color challenge, for FREE, by clicking on the preview.

Oh, and leave me a note if you save the kit into your scrapping stash. It always puts a smile on my face and warm hug for the day. Thanks.

Garden Laughter - Free Scrapbooking Kit

About.com has posted my new FREE kit, in their graphics section. It's called Garden Laughter. Just click on the preview to be taken to the download section.

Summer has certainly hit Northern California and my garden is thriving from all the rain that we received this year. I have flowers and color everywhere I look. Course I have to tend to them at dusk when the bees go back home. I HATE bees around me. But, I know they are necessary for my garden. So, this seems to be the best compromise. HA!

Enjoy the kit and be sure to leave me a note if you grab it. Thanks.

Pieces of Memories-Free Scrapbooking kit

A new FREE kit, by me, has just been posted on the graphics section of About.com. Click on the preview to be taken to the download section. This one was all about tearing fabric and stitching them together.

And speaking of pieces of memories, I had a lovely reunion, recently, with my childhood girlfriend, Pat. We spent our school years together until I was about 15 yo and moved away from the neighborhood. It was so much fun to remember all the things that we did in the 40's & 50's, back when there were bread, vegetable, ice and milk trucks in and out of the neighborhood and life was simpler. Oops....guess I dated myself with that statement. HA!

Enjoy the kit and be sure to leave me a note if you grab it. And don't forget to grab the kit that I posted yesterday. Thanks.

Kims DSO Jun Color Challenge

Once again, I have contributed to Kim's DSO Color Challenge by designing a small kit. You can download it for FREE by clicking on the preview. I usually design with a vintage kind of look, but somewhere in me, a beachy theme emerged. Where did THAT come from? Maybe, because the sun has, once again, found California and the rain has disappeared. WOW, what a wet Spring we had.
Do you like my kit? If so, please leave a note and let me know you stopped by my little place in the internet world. Thanks

Time Will Tell-Free Scrapbook Kit

Wow, California is gorgeous right now. All this wonderful rain and sunshine has brought us green hills and flowers everywhere. There are photo opportunities everywhere you look. I will say, however, that I'm looking forward to an end to the rain, so that I can put out the patio furniture and hit the nursery for some new garden flowers. Until then, I'll just create pretty flowers on the computer and have fun in photo shop.

A new free kit, that I have created, is now posted on About.com's graphic website and you can have it by clicking on the preview. Enjoy! And if you create a layout, frame, or an element cluster from it, that you'd like to share with us, please send it to me and I'll be glad to post it for others to enjoy.

Kims DSO Apr Color Challenge

YIPPEE SKIPPEE! I'm moving right along, this month and have just finished a FREE little kit for Kim's DSO Color Challenge. I know that I've said it before, but I enjoy this color challenge each month. It challenges my feeble brain with Adobe Photoshop.

Soon 3 of my gf's will be arriving from out of town for fun and games. We'll be eating and shopping and creating in photoshop. I think we even have a little sewing project planned. Not to mention the pedicures and all the laughing that goes on. I CAN'T WAIT! We always learn so much as we bounce ideas off of each other. Time to turn my sewing room back into a guest room now. Poor DH doesn't stand a chance with all the gals in the house. LOL

A Comfy Spring Day

I've submitted another FREE digital, scrapbooking kit to About.com. This one is titled "A Comfy Spring Day" and is yours for the taking. I hope you can use the pieces to create a digital scrapbooking page of memories.

I'm a little late posting the note, as I just got back from visiting my daughter in Austin. It was a fun visit with lots of shopping and chatting. She's a cat trapper and involved with Austin Siamese Rescue and Austin Humane Society, so there were lots of pretty kitties to pet and play with. They are lucky to have her in their little lives.

Just click on the preview to download.

And if you're looking for a place to purchase good quality digital scrapbooking items, be sure to click on the blinking banner, on the right side of the page, that I have for DigiDesignResort. You won't be disappointed. Designers using PS or PSP will enjoy their Safari Lounge for beginners and Intermediate users.
