Do you like purple? Well, if you do, you'll find a new free scrapbook kit, by me, at About.com. I love the color purple and had fun using it during the design process.

NOTE: When saving the files at About.com, click on the small thumbnail to get an individual image, then right click and choose:
IE: Save Target As...
Firefox or Google Chrome: Save Link As...
Safari: Save Linked File
Opera: Save Linked Content As...
Otherwise, you will not get the correct filename or filetype.
They do not provide a zipped file for the kit, so you'll need to download each element and paper separately.

Garden Party Quilt Show-2009
Last Saturday, I attended the Garden Party Quilt Show, hosted by my guild, the Santa Clara Valley Quilting Association. It was held at the Santa Clara Convention Center. There were so many beautiful quilts on display and I wasn't able to take a picture of them all. But, by clicking HERE, you can view the ones that I was able to photograph. Click on each picture to get a larger view and then click on the forward arrow to go to the next item.

Kim's DSO Color Challenge-April
I've just finished posting a new small freebie kit for Kim's DSO forum Color Challenge. Even though it's small, there's enough to make a good memory page. It's, also, a fun way to practice making kits and using your graphics program. Everyone is so generous with their designs and we end up with a magnificent kit at the end of the month.
Now it's back to quilting, as I have a new Great Grandson on his way this year and he needs to be kept warm and cozy.

A Quick Page freebie
I've created a quick page for About.com's graphic section and you can pick it up here, as a freebie. Sue Chastain, the graphics guide, has also prepared a tutorial for PS Elements showing how to insert your photos into the quick page layout with layering techniques.
